I probably have about 800-1000 packaged up from when I used to collect in elementary school (mid 2000's), dating from early 90's to probably 2006-7? Regardless, every now and again I walk down the aisles just looking at what's out now. I feel like mattel is bringing out a lot more cool realistic cars now than when I used to play with them.

I'm all about the realistic, mostly. I don't want, literally, a rat on wheels. I don't want what appears to be a dragster designed by the Joke to be driven by his worst enemy. I do like the occasional reference to goofy things, like The Homer.
I stick to buying the cars that really existed and haven't been slammed as part of some "custom car" concept they've put out.
